LAS VEGAS -- Lester J. Starr, 63, of
Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of central Illinois, died Jan. 21, 2011,
at his home. |

Cremation rites have been performed. In accordance
with his request, there will be no memorial
service. Mr. Starr was a carpenter by trade,
belonging to the Carpenters union, but had gone into
retirement due to failing health.
He was born July 14, 1947, a son of Lester and
Naomi Wilham Starr.
He is survived by a son, Matthew Starr (and wife
Amanda) of Springfield, Ill.; a daughter, Angela
Starr Fleming (and husband Paul) of Springfield,
Ill.; a granddaughter, Lilliann Pearl Fleming of
Springfield, Ill.; and two sisters, Shirley
Patterson of Mason City, Ill., and Patricia Lipp of
Mount Pulaski, Ill.
His parents preceded him in death.
Lester was a lifetime member of St. John's
Lutheran Church in Mount Pulaski, Ill.
