HARTSBURG -- Janice J. Bare-Sapp, 66,
of Hartsburg, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2011, at Abraham Lincoln
Memorial Hospital in Lincoln. |
A memorial gathering will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday
at Holland Barry & Bennett Funeral Home in Lincoln.
A memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. at the
funeral home. Janice was employed by the Regal 8
Inns for several years, working in Lincoln and
Springfield.
She was born Dec. 13, 1944, at Ingraham. Her
parents were Ted and Ethel Marie Mayhill Stanley.
She married Earl Neil Bare, and he preceded her in
death in June of 1972.
She is survived by two daughters, Darla (and
Robert) Buss of Hartsburg and Tonya Bare of Lincoln;
two sisters, Sylvia Herold of Decatur and Viola
Brady of Colorado; one brother, Albert Stanley of
Colorado; grandchildren Amy Barger, Krystal Miller,
Amber (and Reuben) Martin and Travis Buss; and
great-grandchildren Hayley Matson, Emmary Matson,
Dylan Glick, Faith Marcum, Aylia Marcum, Audrey Buss
and Braydon Buss.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband
Earl; daughter Dawn Skelton; brothers Bob Stanley,
Tom Stanley and Carl Lee Stanley; and sisters
Virginia and Patsy. |
She loved bingo and used to call the games at the
Logan County Housing Authority.
Memorial donations may be made to the family and
will be accepted at the funeral home.
