Lane, Jacqueline L., 46, Lincoln; 2001 Toyota Camry
This accident occurred at the unmarked intersection of Pekin and Butler, where Martin was northbound on Butler with Lane being westbound on Pekin. As the two approached the intersection, according to rules of the road, Lane had the right of way and Martin should have yielded. Martin failed to do so. Lane told police that she attempted to avoid the accident by swerving her vehicle to the right but was unable to do so.
Martin received two citations in this incident.
