Donna Schriber

[June 13, 2011]  LINCOLN -- Donna Marie Schriber, 61, of Lincoln, died Sunday, June 12, 2011, at 6:55 a.m. at her home, surrounded by her family.

According to her wishes, there will be no visitation. A private family graveside service will be at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Schriber was an administrative secretary for the EMC water treatment plant in Lincoln.

Donna was born Nov. 15, 1949, in Moline. Her parents were Don and Ruth M. Ritchhart. She was united in marriage to Davy Schriber Jr. on May 2, 1975, at the Lincoln Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Amy, and special person Sara of St. Louis, Mo.; and her parents, of Lincoln.

She was preceded in death by a sister and her grandparents.

She was a member of Lincoln Christian Church.

Donna was a very loving and special person. She loved her family and friends. Her terrible illness took her from us and we know that God has a special place for her.

The family wishes to thank everyone for allowing them to follow Donna's wishes for a private service.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
