Narrative:
A 52-year-old male was driving a green 1998 Chevrolet east on
U.S. Route 136 one-fourth mile west of Illinois Route 29. For
unknown reasons, the driver lost control of the vehicle, and it
rolled over and came to rest upside down in the ditch. The driver
was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
When medical personnel arrived, the 52-year-old male was
unresponsive and had no vital signs. He was pronounced dead at the
scene by the Mason County coroner. The name of the driver is being
withheld pending family notification.
