In
this May 24 file photo, fishing boats are washed ashore in an
area devastated by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Kesennuma,
Miyagi Prefecture, northeastern Japan. The devastated port has begun the huge, costly task of moving ships heaved
inland by the tsunami back to the ocean, a key step toward restoring
the town's fishing industry and confidence.

Mr. and Mrs. Greg Fitzpatrick will celebrate 65
years of marriage on June 27. Greg and Evelyn Ryan were
married June 27, 1946, at St. Mary’s Church in Lincoln.
They are
the parents of Joe (and Peg) Fitzpatrick, Louie (and Sue) Fitzpatrick,
Mary (and Phil) Ripa, Deb Curry, Joni (and Galen) Marten, Peggy (and Greg)
Morrow and two infant sons, deceased. They have 20 grandchildren
and 13 great-grandchildren.
Greg is a retired union electrician
and Evelyn is a homemaker.
Family and friends are invited to
attend an anniversary celebration on June 26 from 2
to 5 p.m. at their daughter’s home, 9 Windsor Place in Lincoln.
The couple requests no gifts.
