storm that came through Lincoln just at midnight lit up the
skies to near daylight conditions. Several air-to-ground bolts
also showed off their power during the first of three torrential
downpours that socked the city last night. A flash flood warning is in effect for Logan County today.

this June 7 photo is a mine vehicle, powered by a Harley
motor, at the Harley-Davidson museum in Milwaukee. The cart, which
was created by a mine worker in northern California around 1926, is
part of a new exhibit, "Collection X: Weird, Wild Wonders of the
Harley-Davidson Museum," which runs through Aug. 21.
Breastfed babies are at a
reduced risk of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome).
Statistics reveal that for every 87 deaths from SIDS,
only 3 are breastfed.
