In
this photo released by the state media Cubadebate website, Cuba's
Fidel Castro, left, and Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez look at
the Granma state newspaper at an unknown location in Havana, Cuba,
on Tuesday. Chavez underwent surgery in Cuba two weeks
ago and has been unusually quiet since then. Allies of Chavez have
insisted the leader is firmly in control of the country and
improving from his operation for a pelvic abscess. Chavez arrived at
Havana on June 8 and had surgery on June 10.
Tuesday evening between 6 and 6:30 two vehicles
collided in the downtown area at the intersection of Broadway
and North McLean. According to witnesses, a female passenger from
one of the vehicles was taken to Abraham Lincoln Memorial
Hospital by Logan County Paramedics. At the time of the accident
city police and fire departments were on the scene but offered no
information regarding the incident.

Rickman, who won a Tony Award in the 2002 production of Noel
Coward's "Private Lives," will star in the world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's new play, "Seminar," on Broadway this fall. The production
will open at a Shubert theater to be announced soon.
