The burned
home belonging to former Mouseketeer Annette Funicello is shown
after a fire Thursday in Los Angeles. Funicello
suffered smoke inhalation from the fire that badly damaged her Los
Angeles home, but her former husband says she wasn't seriously
injured.
Congratulations to the Chester-East Lincoln eighth-grade
volleyball team for winning the Hartsburg-Emden Regional and
advancing to sectionals. The team will play Monday at Hartsburg-Emden High School for a chance to advance to the
state tournament.
