all-you-care-to-eat pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday, March 12, from 8
to 11 a.m. Breakfast will feature plain, chocolate chip and blueberry pancakes,
as well as farm-fresh sausage, and coffee, milk or juice, all for a free-will
donation. All money received will be used to help fund the replacement of the
church roof. Several of the men of the church will do beverage serving in their
best roofing attire, including tool belts and nail aprons, in the hope that
satisfied customers will stuff them with tips that will also be added to roof
fund. Lincoln Church of the Nazarene is located at 2501 Woodlawn Road, across

A
prayer breakfast is being planned by Lincoln Woman's Club
members for 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the Woman's Club
Building. Bill Overton of the Lincoln/Logan County Food Pantry will
present the program, and the Lincoln College Choir will perform.
Social co-chairwomen are Jane Redding, Louann Bleess and Alexis
Asher. Janet Haning and Jean Tubbs are greeters, and Ruth Hoppin is
in charge of devotions. The regular business meeting will follow the
breakfast.
Zumba
fitness is here and bigger than ever! Janell Woolard, a
certified Zumba instructor, has brought the dance-workout phenomenon
to two locations in Logan County for your convenience. Woolard has
stated that her main goal is to bring this extraordinary fitness
experience to as many people as she can.
"It has changed my life," says Woolard. "Zumba fitness gives you
back the energy you need to sustain a hectic life. And I want to
give that opportunity to anyone I can."
Zumba fitness has claimed that you can burn up to 500 calories
(and sometimes more) in just one session.
"And the beauty of it all? It literally feels like a dance party,
NOT a workout," Woolard adds. And at this party, you will sweat.
You can find this "dance party" on Mondays and Thursdays, 6-7
p.m., at the Emden Community Center in Emden. For Lincoln, the times
are Wednesdays at 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays at 8-9 a.m. at the Lincoln
Christian University Laughlin Center (main gym). Payment and
discount options are available. For more information and to
preregister, you can e-mail Woolard:
