The first Chamber After Hours event this year drew a large crowd to Blades Hair & Nail Salon on Madigan Drive yesterday. Perhaps it was the weather finally breaking. But more than likely it was the staff at Blades and the food prepared by Susan Shaw, owner of Central Illinois Event Catering, that had everyone in a festive mood.
