Robert E. Zella, 93, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at 12:50 p.m. at
Christian Village Nursing Home. |

Mr. Zella was
cremated. There will be no services.
Arrangements
were by Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in
Lincoln.
Mr. Zella owned and
operated Zella's Mart in Gaylord, Mich., and retired in
1977 as a surgical technician in Ann Arbor, Mich.
He was born
July 23, 1917, in Detroit, Mich. His parents were
Joseph and Hattie Wagner Zella. He married Ulah Price in 1942 in Detroit,
and she preceded
him in death. He later married Frances Lelling,
and she preceded him in death. He then married Eugenia Kramer Lawrence,
and she preceded him in
death.
He is survived by two daughters, Gail Beachler of Peoria
and Karen Lawrence Hoffert (and Donnie) of Lincoln;
four grandchildren, Eric Gorman,
Kevin Beachler, Angy Jesse and Anthony Hoffert; and
four great-grandchildren.
He was
also preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Bond, and one
granddaughter, Pamela Gorman. |
He was a member of Holy
Family Church.
Memorials may be made to the donor's
choice.
