Lincoln finished up their Hog Wild Happenings week with a
roaring assembly in their gymnasium. There was a pie eating
contest and some pig smooching that had the students
and staff laughing all afternoon. More pictures are in

three icebreakers working to keep

In this file photo from Sept. 8, 2009, Oprah Winfrey waves
to her fans in Chicago while taping an episode of "The Oprah Winfrey
Show" on a three-block stretch of Michigan Avenue near the Chicago
River to celebrate the start of the 24th season of her show. On
Monday the Illinois Broadcasters Association
announced that Winfrey will be inducted into the IBA Hall of Fame in May. She will join a list
of Illinois broadcasting luminaries that includes movie reviewers
Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel, late Cubs announcer Harry Caray, and
comedian Jack Benny.
Tatiana Colclasure, a
5-foot-8 guard from Effingham High School, has signed a letter of
intent to play basketball at Lincoln Christian University this fall.
