Azusa Pacific University Choir and Orchestra concert

DETAILS: The Grammy-nominated and Dove Award-winning Azusa Pacific University Choir and Orchestra, known as UCO, is a nationally renowned, 80-voice mixed choral and 30-piece orchestral ensemble from Southern California under the direction of John Sutton, DMA. UCO performs various styles of music with a concentration in contemporary Christian music in concerts throughout the United States and internationally in Canada, Mexico and South Korea. Their May tour will take them to Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, Illinois, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina. It will be an evening of awe-inspiring music you do not want to miss. Glass recycling collection
SPONSORS: Logan County Joint Solid Waste Agency, Lincoln Junior Woman's Club, Verallia Saint-Gobain Containers and the Logan County Fair Association
WHO: Open to the public
DETAILS: Accepting only container glass that originally contained either a food or beverage product. Clear glass as well as amber, green and blue will be accepted. Unacceptable items include ceramic pieces, dishware, light bulbs, fluorescent lights, window glass and mirrors. For safety reasons, no broken glass will be accepted.
Glass preparation: Rinse containers thoroughly. Remove any metal or plastic lids and rings from the container. Labels may be left on containers.
The agency reserves the right to refuse any glass not meeting preparation or recycling guidelines. Glass will be accepted only on designated collection dates. The Logan County Joint Solid Waste Agency does not accept glass at any of its recycling sites.
Collection will be canceled in case of inclement weather or excessive heat.
