[May 11, 2011]  The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce invites you to get out of the office and enjoy an afternoon of fun at their annual golf outing on June 3 at the Elks Country Club. This year’s golf outing and dinner will have a Hawaiian theme.

The golf outing is a fun-filled afternoon and evening of golf, dinner, drinks, auctions and games. If you are not a golfer, that’s not a problem. You can join the outing for dinner, cocktails, auctions and fun during the evening event. With many ways to become involved, the chamber hopes that you find a way to participate. The chamber is currently looking for teams, dinner reservations, auction items and sponsors.

The golf outing offers opportunities to businesses and organizations to partner with the chamber with many levels of sponsorship. To promote their services and products, businesses can also donate auction items or a basket for the silent and live auctions. Donating an item and being a sponsor of the golf outing are both great publicity and advertisement for your business.

The early registration deadline is May 20. Golfer registration and dinner reservation forms are available at www.lincolnillinois.com or by calling the chamber office at 217-735-2385. Sign up today, because the golf outing promises to be the most fun you can have on a Friday in June!

The proceeds of the golf outing go to support the chamber’s mission to be an advocate for business by providing leadership, programs and services that create, protect and enhance the business environment for the benefit of chamber members and Lincoln and Logan County.
