LINCOLN -- Dennis Roy Kelsey, 63, of
Lincoln, died Monday, May 23, 2011, at 2:41 a.m. at BroMenn in
Normal.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader
Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Steve Blaum officiating.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. |

Burial will be in Zion Cemetery. Mr. Kelsey was
retired from United Technologies in Indianapolis,
Ind.
He was born on Aug. 22, 1947, in Indianapolis,
Ind. His parents were William and Rosemary Chadwick
Martin. He married Helen Ridgeway on May 19, 1977,
in Bloomington.
He is survived by his wife, of Lincoln; his
mother, of Clayton, Ind.; five daughters, Cindy Veff
of Lincoln, Sue (and Rob) Dieke of Ada, Minn., Elise
Hill of Atlanta, Teresa (and Ted) Sahm of Clayton,
Ind., and Sheila Sipes of Washington, Ind.; three
sons, Charles (and Theresa) Funk of McLean, Dennis
Kelsey Jr. of Indianapolis, Ind., and Chadwick Funk
of Jasper, Ind.; 24 grandchildren; and 21
great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and one
daughter, Michelle Kelsey. |
Memorials may be given to the family or to
Mid-Illinois Hematology and Oncology Associates in
Normal.
