MOUNT PULASKI -- Ethel Fuiten McCain,
93, of Mount Pulaski, died Thursday, Oct. 6, 2011, at 12:57 p.m. at
Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mount Pulaski. Her funeral
will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with J.T. Thomason
conducting the service. |
Burial will follow in Steenbergen Cemetery. Mrs.
McCain was a housewife and school cook.
She was born Nov. 5, 1917, at Lake Fork. Her
parents were William H. and Ellen McMann Fuiten. She
married Lee V. McCain, and he preceded her in death.
She is survived by two children, Donald (and
Sandra) McCain of Mount Pulaski and Jimmie (and
Michelle) McCain of Hillsboro, Mo.; a
daughter-in-law, Vera McCain; grandchildren Mark
(and Chris) McCain, Jerald (and Lynn) McCain, Susan
(and Bryan) Roher, Dennis (and Kathy) McCain,
Cinthia Mauldin, Jason McCain, Sean McCain and
Maggie (and Tyler) Edwards; 23 great-grandchildren;
and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one son,
William; four sisters, Dorthey, Mable, Doris and
Wilma; and one brother, Charles. |
She was a member of Mount Pulaski Christian Church.
Memorials may be made to Oblong Christian
Children's Home or the building fund at Mount
Pulaski Christian Church.
