Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Monday afternoon. Grain prices followed outside markets
lower. Technical selling and beneficial rain over much of the
cornbelt also pressured grain values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 4 to 8 cents lower at 6.04-6.18. Soybean bids
traded 14 to 18 cents lower at 13.89-14.13.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 3 to 8 cents lower at 6.15-6.30. Soybean bids were 15
to 17 cents lower at 13.95-14.09.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 5 to 8
cents lower at 6.25-6.45. Soybean bids were 9 to 19 cents lower
at 14.06-14.22. Wheat bids were mostly 9 cents lower at
5.99-6.17.
