Wednesday night this was one of the calmest scenes of the evening as a wall of small children with looks of determination on their faces marched to the front of the grandstand at the Logan County Fair. These kids were on a mission to chase down and take home an animal to show at next year's 4-H animal exhibits. With the exception of the chickens for ages 5 and under, animals caught will be cared for by their captors and brought back to the fair next year. LDN will have dozens of great photos of this event in tomorrow's edition. Photo by Nila Smith (Click on photo for larger image.) |
