Illinois country grain prices were
higher on Wednesday afternoon, with soybeans sharply higher.
Soybean futures were supported by
a strong cash market and higher soybean meal values.
Corn gained strength from good
ethanol usage numbers.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 14 cents higher at 7.78-8.01.
Soybean bids were 36 to 37 cents
higher at 16.59-16.73.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 14 to 15 cents higher at 7.93-8.19.
Soybean bids were 36 cents higher
at 16.75-16.94.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mostly
14 to 15 cents higher at 7.93-8.27.
Soybean bids were up 37 to 45
cents at
16.60-16.93.
Wheat bids were 7 to 8 cents
higher at 8.16-8.46.
