Phyllis I. Reynolds, 94, of Lincoln, died Thursday, Aug. 16, 2012,
at 2:20 a.m. at LeRoy Manor, LeRoy.

Lincoln-Phyllis I. Reynolds, age 94, of Lincoln, IL, died at 2:20 A.M.
August 16, 2012 at Leroy Manor in Leroy, IL.
Phyllis was born on March 20, 1918 in DeWitt, IL, the daughter of
Lawrence and Artie Bracken Walters. She was united in
marriage to Carl Reynolds on June 18, 1946 in Hillsboro,
IL. He preceded her in death on March 31, 1964.
Phyllis is survived by two sons, Donald Lee Reynolds of Carterville, IL
and Ronald Keith Reynolds of Barnett, Missouri, one
daughter, Linda Dailey of Evansville, Indiana, one brother,
Oliver E. Walters of Weldon, IL, eight grandchildren, two
great grandchildren, three nieces, Linda Gruen of Pontiac,
IL, Loretta Temples of Leroy, IL, Lucy (Larry) Troutman of
Lawrenceville, Georgia, four nephews, Bud Walters of Weldon,
IL, Bob (Marsha) Walters of Weldon, IL, Paul David (Joyce)
Walters of Missouri and Bud Walters of Weldon, IL. She was
preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 1 brother
Dean Walters. |
Phyllis was a retired Registered Nurse. She was a
member of Lincoln Christian Church, Past Worthy
Matron of The Order of Eastern Star #351, Past
Worthy High Priestess of White Shrine of Jerusalem
#100 and Lincoln Eagles Auxiliary.
Phyllis was cremated. A memorial service will be held on
Friday August 24, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln, IL with
Tim Searby officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M.
prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in
Weldon Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Lincoln Christian
Church or The Christian Village. |
