Raymond F. Hanslow, 88, of Lincoln, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at
7:40 p.m. at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital.

Lincoln: Raymond F. Hanslow, 88, of Lincoln died at
Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln at 7:40
P.M. Friday November 30, 2012.
Raymond was born on July 24, 1924 in Mt. Pulaski to
Charles H. and Bessie M. McGeath Hanslow. He married
Patricia Bishop on January 26, 1944 in Oxnard, CA.
She preceded him in death on October 7, 2004. He
retired in 1987 as the Executive Director of the
Logan County Housing Authority.

He was of the Methodist faith, a life member of the
Mt. Pulaski Masonic Lodge #87 and was a member of
the Lincoln American Legion Post #263 since 1945
when he was discharged from the U.S. Navy after
WWII.
Surviving is one son Raymond (Shirley) Hanslow Jr.
of Brookston, IN, one daughter Pamela D. (David)
Davis of Lincoln, one sister, Emma (Francis) Nolan
of Bloomington, IL, six grandchildren and nine
great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his
parents, two brothers: Charles (Dorothy) Hanslow;
Forrest E. (Donna) Hanslow; and sister Lillian (Tom)
Shull.
Private family services will be held at a later date
with Tim Searby officiating. Burial will be in Mt.
Pulaski Cemetery where full military rites will be
accorded. Memorials may be made to the Lincoln
American Legion Post #263.
Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mt. Pulaski
is handling arrangements.
