This beautiful flag is artwork by West Lincoln-Broadwell students and has been given to American Legion Post 263 in Lincoln. The blue backdrop for our nation's 50 stars and the red stripes are handprints of children in kindergarten through fourth grade, and every student in the school signed the flag. The Legion will have the flag mounted and covered with Plexiglas so that it can be on display in their hall for years to come. Picture by Nila Smith (Click on picture for larger image.) |
