[July 03, 2012]  MOUNT PULASKI -- These hardworking parishioners of St. John's Lutheran Church made about 31 pounds of their famous noodles for the Fourth of  July bake sale to benefit the Mount Pulaski Courthouse Foundation.

The bake sale will be on the south side of square, next to the bell monument. The homemade noodles will be sold for $4.25 per package.

The Mount Pulaski Township Historical Society will have a garage sale in their museum on the south side of the square.

Within a few steps, also on the south side of the square, the Mount Pulaski VFW Scroggin-Gee Post 777 will have their annual Southern fried chicken dinner with salad, vegetable, dessert and drink. The meal will be served from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
