Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Thursday afternoon.
Corn futures were weakened by
lower than expected weekly export sales figures
and the scattered rain showers covering some of the cornbelt.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 17 to 18 cents lower at 7.61-7.81.
Soybean bids traded 37 to 42 cents
lower at 16.72-16.87.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 13 to 18 cents lower at 7.85-8.06.
Soybean bids were 37 to 44 cents
lower at 16.71-16.90.
Wheat bids were 19 cents lower at
8.62-8.67. In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 13 to
15 cents lower at 7.85-8.29.
Soybean bids were 38 to 41 cents
lower at
16.68-17.01.
Wheat bids were 14 to 19 cents
lower at 8.47-8.87.
