spent a lot of time the last few weeks showing you dismal
pictures of the effects of drought on local farm fields and even
lawns. But today we're going to give you something a
little more cheery. This lovely front yard was found in Emden last weekend during the Emden Homecoming
celebration. Kudos to the person who has lovingly taken care of all these
colorful plants in a year when Mother Nature chose to throw away
her watering can.
