MOUNT PULASKI -- Jerry D. DeWeese died
Sunday, July 29, 2012, at 10:35 a.m. at Regency Care Center in
Springfield.

Mt. Pulaski- Jerry D. DeWeese passed away at 10:35
A.M. on July 29, 2012 at Regency Care Center in
Springfield, IL.
Jerry was born on September 9, 1936 in Macomb, IL;
son of Robert V and Goldie Willey DeWeese.
He worked at JC Penney’s for 35 years before he
purchased his own business in Lincoln, IL where he
and his wife both worked. He married Dorothy Mae
Tucker on September 7, 1958 in Galesburg, IL. She
survives him.

He is survived by two daughters: Julia Lynn DeWeese
of Springfield, IL; and Brenda Gail Humbert of Lincoln, IL, Four brothers:
William L. DeWeese of Cincinnati, OH; Rex DeWeese of Galesburg, IL; Roger
DeWeese of Watauga, TX, and Jack DeWeese of Galesburg, IL. Two sisters: Joan
Johnson and Kathryn Ziegler both of Galesburg, IL. four grandchildren, five
step-grandchildren, and seven step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents one daughter
Wendy Sue Lingeman and his brother Gene DeWeese.
Jerry’s wishes were to be cremated, arrangements being held
at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Mt. Pulaski.
Memorials may be made to the Springfield Central Hospice
Care (Memorial Hospital).
