Saturday
morning five Logan County 4-H members met at the Logan
County Fairgrounds for the 4-H dog show. The dog
show is held every year the Saturday before the official
beginning on the fair. Today there will also be
activities going on at the fairgrounds, preceding the
official opening of the fair on Tuesday.
LDN will
once again work hard to bring you the best coverage of
the fair in the county. We will begin Tuesday
morning with more photos from the dog show, pictures
from the Monday events and more.

long. This doesn't mean you have to go hungry, though. Mix up this delicious chicken recipe, put it in
a slow cooker
and walk away. When you get home, you'll have a tasty

In this Wednesday photo, Ira Kramer, nephew of Movie Star News
founder Irving Klaw, looks over movie posters packed for
transport. Movie Star News, a New York
institution since 1939, has been shuttered, and with it nearly 3 million
Hollywood-related posters, vintage photographs and original
negatives are destined for a different future. Last week, the
Manhattan store, credited with creating the concept of pin-up
art, announced it had sold its entire inventory,
including 1,500 original bondage images of the "Queen of
Pin-Ups," Bettie Page, to two partners of a Las Vegas
collectibles company for an undisclosed sum.
