[July 31, 2012]  Habitat for Humanity of Logan County is offering raffle chances for a recently built playhouse and also for a quilt. The winners will be drawn during the Railsplitter Festival in September.

Chances for both drawings are $2 each or three chances for $5.

The playhouse is currently sitting on Habitat's warehouse lot at 919 Woodlawn Road. The quilt is hanging in the Habitat Center at 909 Woodlawn Road. The quilt is a modified log cabin design. It was made by Sue Bidwell of Lincoln in 2009, quilted by Shirley Stauffer and is a gift to Habitat for Humanity from Bidwell, as a means for Habitat to raise funds for building homes in Logan County.

The playhouse will be on display at the Logan County Fair, the balloon fest and the Railsplitter Festival, where chances will also be available for purchase. A picture of the quilt will be at all sites as well, but the quilt itself will remain at the Habitat Center to keep it clean, and it can be seen there upon request.

Inquiries can be made to Georgia Green, fundraising chair, at 217-648-2973, or Tonita Reifsteck, 217-732-9796.
