Benefit for Leanne Arnold this weekend

[June 05, 2012]  There will be a benefit for Leanne Payne Arnold on Friday and Saturday at TT's Place, 210 W. Main St. in Easton, to help toward medical expenses for her treatment. Leanne is the daughter of the late Howard and Maggie Payne and grew up in the Hartsburg area. Leanne was diagnosed with stage IIIC breast cancer last November and has been undergoing both chemo treatments and a series of radiation treatments since then.

On Friday, there will be a benefit dinner from 5 to 10 p.m.

On Saturday, there will be an all-day benefit beginning at 11 a.m., including a poker run, bake sale, silent auction, 50-50 drawing, raffle and concessions. The All the Rage band will play beginning at 7 p.m.

A portion of funds raised will be matched by the Mason County Chapter of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
