JUNE 5

HIGH CHAIRS 

Evenflo recalls Convertible High Chairs sold nationwide from December 2011 to June 2012. The activity tray on the high chair can unexpectedly detach and allow an unrestrained child to fall. 

This recall involves Evenflo high chairs that convert from a high chair to toddler-size table and chair. The convertible high chair can be identified by the model names and numbers listed at www.recalls.org. 

Consumers should contact Evenflo at (800) 233-5921 between 8 a.m. through 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday, or visit http://safety.evenflo.com for a replacement tray with installation and use instructions. More info at www.recalls.org.

JUNE 6

DECK CHAIRS 

West Marine is recalling Folding Deck Chairs sold nationwide from February 2012 to May 2012. The chair cannot support the stated weight capacity. This poses a collapse hazard. 

The recalled item is a West Marine Deluxe Deck Chair. It is a folding deck chair with metal legs and light-colored wood armrests. Model/SKU number 13110341 is printed on a coated paper tag attached to the chair frame.

JUNE 7

GEL PACKS 

California Innovations is recalling Ice/Hot and Ice Gel Packs sold nationwide from July 2007 to December 2008. If the packs become damaged, they can leak gel that could contain diethylene glycol and ethylene glycol, which can cause illness if ingested in large amounts.

The recalled products are Cryofreeze ice/hot packs and Arctic Zone ice packs. The gel packs were sold separately and with a variety of lunch boxes, coolers and thermal carriers. Complete list can be found at www.recalls.org. 

Consumers should dispose of them according to federal, state and/or local regulations. 

Consumers can call California Innovations at (800) 722-2545 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday or visit www.californiainnovations.com  to receive a $6 cash refund for large Cryofreeze gel packs or a $5 cash refund for all other gel packs. More info at www.recalls.org.

DUMBBELLS 

Nautilus Inc. is recalling Bowflex® SelectTech® 1090 Dumbbells sold nationwide from May 2011 to August 2011. The weight selector dial on the units can fail, causing weight plates to fall when the dumbbell is lifted from its cradle, posing an injury hazard. 

The word 'BOWFLEX' is written in grey along the top of each handle. This recall involves units with a date-of-manufacture code in the serial number in the range of 1111 through 1136. The date code is the four-digit code following the letters "MAG" in the serial number.
