LINCOLN -- Robert "Bob" Duane Harris,
49, of Lincoln, died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at 3:30 p.m. at
Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

Lincoln - Robert (Bob) Duane Harris, 49, of Lincoln,
died Saturday, June 16th, 2012 surrounded by his
loving family.
Bob was born to Kenny and Judy Logan Harris, on
September 21, 1962, in Lincoln, Illinois. He married
Diane Marie Hildebrands on February 25th, 1989 in
Las Vegas, Nevada. They have lived together in
Lincoln, Illinois for the past 23 years. Bob is
survived by his wife, Diane; his two daughters
Krista Margarita and Kara Olga; his parents, Kenny
and Judy Harris; his brother, Larry Harris, and his
sister, Karrie Boch. He was also the loving Uncle of
many nieces and nephews who will greatly miss him.
Bob worked as a carpenter at Kenshalo-Rousey Home
Improvement for many years before working at
American Water Corporation in Lincoln as a Waste
Treatment Operator.
Bob enjoyed a long musical career playing in bands
throughout central Illinois since 1977. He played in
the following bands: The Mild Mannered Band, Radio,
Imagine That, Four and a Half Men, and the Jason
Bassett Band. He always said he graduated from the
School of Rock.

A Memorial Service in memory of Bob will be held on
Saturday, June 23rd, at 1:00 p.m., at the LifePointe
Church of God, Lincoln, Illinois, with Pastor C.
Doug Bowers officiating. Visitation will be from
10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the Memorial
Service.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of
Bob may be made to the Harris Girls College Fund
through CEFCU bank in Lincoln, Illinois.
Peasley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
