Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Wednesday afternoon.
Dry weather again supported higher
grain futures.
In the cash markets, trading
activity was slow to moderate again as there was a weaker cash
corn basis at many grain terminals and processors.
The processors cash corn basis
fell 13 to 17 cents at many locations.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 8 to 9 cents lower at 6.49-6.65.
Soybean bids traded 1 to 2 cents
higher at 14.56-14.68.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were mixed at 6.63-6.75.
Soybean bids were 1 to 2 cents
lower at 14.58-14.73.
Wheat bids were 6 cents higher at 7.02-7.16.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were mixed
at 6.69-6.95.
Soybean bids were steady to 1 cent
lower at 14.64-14.78.
Wheat bids were 1 to 2 cents
higher at 7.06-7.57.
