Pictured
outside the Atlanta Museum on Wednesday morning
are (from left) Barbara Burdett, Paul Adams, Corky Cheek
and Bill Johnson.
Burdett
is doing research for a book she plans to write
about her father, R. Marlin
Baker, who was an attorney in Lincoln. The three
Atlanta history buffs are trying to help find information for her book. She will be
writing about what it was like to contract polio
back then and how it affected her father's life. Adams knew Baker personally, and Cheek and
Johnson are helping by offering background on
what life was like in the Atlanta area "back in
the day."

Years has added something new to the landscape
of their store. It's pretty amazing what
some of the shop owners in downtown Lincoln come
up with to make their shops stand out and draw
interest. The vintage bike with its basket of
flowers just seems to say, "Come on in! What is inside is just as unique and special as
what is outside!"

"Archer & Armstrong" -- an odd couple of an
ancient immortal and a home-schooled and well-trained teenager
acting as a fist of God -- find themselves at the cabal's mercy
deep under Wall Street in an ancient crypt where they find out
