Illinois country grain prices were
lower on Wednesday afternoon. Speculative and fund selling at
the Board of Trade again pushed grain prices lower.
Traders were preparing for the
release of the updated Supply Demand information from the USDA
Thursday morning.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 17 to 18 cents lower at 6.21-6.29.
Soybean bids traded mostly 7 to 11
cents lower at 13.96-14.08.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 16 cents lower at 6.26-6.46.
Soybean bids were 8 to 11 cents
lower at 14.07-14.16.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 19 to
20 cents lower at 6.31-6.53.
Soybean bids were 9 to 12 cents
lower at 14.14-14.31.
Wheat bids were 15 to 16 cents
lower at 5.75-5.98.
