Lincoln College invites the public on
an eastern Caribbean cruise hosted by the college in January. The
cruise will depart from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., on Jan. 19 and return
Jan. 27.
|
The cruise is an eight-night adventure that will visit four ports of
call: St. Kitts, St. Maarten, San Juan and Labadee (a Royal
Caribbean private island). Cruise-goers will sail on Royal
Caribbean's cruise ship Independence of the Seas. Space and
current rates ranging from $886 for an inside cabin up to $1,386 for
a balcony cabin are guaranteed through July 1. Every stateroom in
the Lincoln College group will receive a $75 onboard credit and
enjoy a private cocktail party onboard the ship. Attendees are
permitted to pay a small deposit now, while final payment isn't due
until Oct. 26.
Kerri Taylor, alumni relations and special events coordinator for
Lincoln College, says:
"It will be a fabulous vacation. The ship is part of the RCI's
Freedom Class, which is the second-largest in their fleet. It's a
great ship with lots of things to do on it, such as a mini golf
course, rock-climbing wall, basketball, ice skating, shopping,
fabulous entertainment, casino and much more. Grab your family and
friends and set sail with us on this adventure. Our limited blocked
space won't last much longer. We look forward to an unforgettable
week of chasing our winter blues away with the sun and surf in the
beautiful Caribbean! We hope you'll join us!"
