LCU tops CCCB in opening game

[November 07, 2012]  MOBERLY, Mo. -- The Lincoln Christian University men's basketball team started off the season with a 95-60 victory over Central Christian College of the Bible on Monday night.

Coach Davis Hodem enters his second season as the head coach for LCU, while Mac Ingmire serves his first season as the assistant coach.

Sophomore Gabe Langseth recorded a career-high 28 points to lead the Red Lions. Freshman David Graves recorded 25 points and led LCU with six rebounds. Freshman Drake Bentley led all bench scorers with six points. LCU capitalized on a weak defense in the paint, scoring 70 of their 90 points there.

The Red Lions will look to continue the momentum when they face St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. in the Laughlin Center.
