A couple sit on
chairs in a near-empty room to watch Fox News commentator Karl
Rove on a big-screen television during a Republican Party
election night gathering in the club level of Sports Authority
Field at Mile High in Denver on Tuesday.
At 11:12 p.m. ET, Obama was
predicted as the winner of the 2012 election, but Rove, a known
Romney supporter, created an uncomfortable feeling for his
fellow telecasters when he warned: "We've got to be careful
about calling things when we have like 991 votes separating the
candidates and a quarter of the vote left to count ... I'd be
very cautious about intruding in this process."
