The Lincoln/Logan County Chamber

Christmas Parade.

The YPN launch event is sponsored by Rolling Prairie Subdivision.
YPN is designed for individuals in their 20s and 30s who work in
Lincoln and Logan County. The purpose of this group is to connect
young professionals with one another, to build strong relationships,
to grow together and develop ties to the community. The chamber
expects this network to create opportunities for personal and
professional growth by providing opportunities in business
networking, professional development, service through volunteering,
leadership training and social events.
The admission fee for the launch event will be one bottle of wine
per person. This will be used for informal wine-tasting during the
evening, but participation in the tasting is not required to have
fun at this event. Hors d'oeuvres will be served throughout the
evening.
The next YPN event is scheduled for Jan. 10 at Fat Boys BBQ. At
this event there will be a short meeting to discuss future meeting
dates and locations, the goals and vision of the group.

"We feel like this is an underserved group of individuals in our
organization and in our community," said Andi Hake, executive
director of the Lincoln/Logan County Chamber of Commerce. "This
network (for) young professionals is significant to the chamber, and
we feel that it is very important to engage young, bright
individuals in our community and with each other for the future
success of Lincoln and Logan County. Individuals that participate in
this network will be able to form strong connections and build
resources, while strengthening ties to the community."
The chamber looks at this as a great opportunity to bring
together the young professionals of this area in order to shape the
future of the community.
The Young Professionals Network directly reflects the vision of
the chamber to be the advocate for business in the area by providing
leadership, programs and services that create, protect and enhance
the business environment for the benefit of chamber members and
Lincoln and Logan County.
