Meet
me in the Lincoln. Folks turned out Friday for the 5 p.m. showing of
Steven Spielberg's "Lincoln." The movie is supposed to be based on historically sound
information about the 16th president. Next
week a panel at the Lincoln Heritage Museum will discuss the movie. Read more
in the story below.

Get
them before they are all gone! According
to Wal-Mart manager Cody Atkins, there are still
several Hostess products on the shelf, but when
they are gone, they are gone. Hostess has
announced they are calling it quits, but that
doesn't mean there won't be someone waiting in
the wings to buy the name. Even so, we have
to wonder... Will the Twinkie ever be the same?

In this Sept. 13 photo,
Reggie Fils-Aime, president and chief operating officer of
Nintendo of America, discusses the upcoming Wii U gaming
console, in New York. Much like the iPad, the curvy GamePad
features a touchscreen that can be manipulated with the simple
tap or swipe of a finger, but it's surrounded by the kinds of
buttons, bumpers, thumbsticks and triggers that are
traditionally found on a modern-day game controller. The gaming
console will start at $300 and go on sale in the U.S. on Sunday, in time for the holidays, the company said.
