Illinois country grain prices were
mixed on Tuesday afternoon.
Export interest and higher than
expected weekly export inspection figures helped to boost
soybean futures.
Corn futures were supported by the
sale of 180,000 tonnes of US corn to Japan.
In the Weekly Crop Progress
report, the USDA indicated that the Illinois corn harvest was
12% complete, compared to 2% one year ago.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 1 to 5 cents lower at 7.84-8.04.
Soybean bids were 12 to 16 cents
higher at 17.42-17.54.

bids were 6 to 7 cents higher at 8.05-8.25.
