Cal Martin Jr., 90, of Lincoln died Saturday, Sept.
1, 2012 at 9:12 p.m. at his home.

Cal Martin Jr., age 90, of Lincoln died at his home
at 9:12 P.M. on September 1, 2012. Cal was born on
February 11, 1922 in Lincoln, son of Cal and Cathryn
Martin Sr.
He married Alyce "Marie" Bridges on April 6, 1946 in
Lincoln. He was a member
of Lincoln Christian Church. He served in the Army
during WWII and was also a
member of the Eagles Lodge of Lincoln.
Cal is survived by his wife; one daughter: Carol O'Rourke of Lincoln; one granddaughter: Christy
(Daniel) Teague of Jacksonville, FL; two great-
grandchildren: Madison Marie and Jack Daniel Teague
both of Jacksonville, FL;
one sister Clarine (Eugene) Slayton of New Smyrna
Beach, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one
brother: Tom Martin, two sisters: Gertrude Birbiles and
Leona Gleason.
Services for Cal will be 1:30 P.M. Wednesday September 5,
2012 at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home in Lincoln
with
Pastor Ron Otto officiating.
Visitation will be from 4-7 P.M. on Tuesday September 4,
2012 at the funeral home.
Burial will be at New Union Cemetery with Military Rites
accorded by the
American Legion Post #263.
