Illinois country grain prices were
higher on Thursday afternoon. Wheat futures received a boost
from the lower value of the US dollar and expected export
interest.
Corn and soybean futures were
pulled up by the strong wheat values.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids 1 to 4 cents higher at 7.45-7.82.
Soybean bids were steady to 4
cents higher
at 17.05-17.27.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 2 to 3 cents higher at 7.74-7.88.
Soybean bids were 1 cent higher at
17.47-17.62.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 4
cents higher at 7.61-7.94.
Soybean bids were 1 cent higher at
17.27-17.37. Wheat bids were 9 to 12 cents higher at 8.65-8.84.
