He was preceded in death by his father, one sister: Pam Womack, one nephew: Troy Powell, paternal and maternal grandparents.

He worked out of the Union Labor Hall. He worked for Cullinan for 23 years and most recently for Stark Excavation.

His hobbies included being a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals and Dallas Cowboys fan, computer games, listening to old music that he grew up with, cooking and eating.

He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, true friend and an amazing person with the kindest most gentle heart there ever was. There will be a huge void in our hearts for all that knew him. His nickname was "Beamer" because he always had a smile on his face.

Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home.
