According
to Michelle Ramlow, commander of Cronin Brothers
VFW Post 1756, when the organization took down
their sign recently and the building they own
underwent a name change, it caused some folks to
believe that the post is no longer active. Ramlow explained that not only is it active, it
is more active than ever before. Read more
about this in the story below.

Norman Bridwell, creator of

After the Railers took their first victory of
the season at the Friday night homecoming game, Justin Tierney spent some time
with some of the players. In his article below, Tierney talks about the
heart of the team, their spirit, their drive and their desire to do what some
might say is impossible.
"We have 30 kids on our varsity team. We know we
aren't the biggest team. But we also know we have the biggest hearts," said
junior quarterback Austin Krusz, who scored the game-winning touchdown in the
final seconds on Friday night. "You have to with 30 kids. We knew coming into
this game, we can beat them, we can pull off an upset. It feels great. We knew
we could do it."
