Monday evening Robert Wood was sworn into service as the newest member of the city of Lincoln Fire Department. Wood comes to Lincoln from the Sherman Fire Department. He is certified in basic and advanced firefighting. Wood will serve a probationary period with the department and if that is successfully completed will be sworn in again as a permanent part of the department.
