Thursday night at the Logan
County Airport, the
Lincoln/Logan Chamber of Commerce hosted a portion of their pre-event
kickoff celebration for the 40th annual Lincoln Art & Balloon
Festival.
At media night, Lisa Ramlow of
Lincoln Daily News was chosen to take a flight and chronicle her
trip in photos. Editor-in-Chief Jan Youngquist also chronicled the
flight from the ground, taking photos as the balloon lifted off,
then giving chase and meeting Ramlow as she landed in a cornfield
north of town.
