Logan County Emergency Management Agency is looking for a
detail oriented person to fill a 12 month, renewable, grant
funded position as a Hazardous Materials Specialist. This
person will perform difficult professional and
administrative work involving a wide range of technical and
administrative activities. Work involves developing and
maintaining the Hazardous Materials Emergency Response Plan
and its integration into the overall Emergency Operations
Plan, maintaining the Tier II reports, and the development
of projects to support our hazardous materials program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Thorough knowledge of
the principles and techniques of hazardous materials
planning; ability to organize large complex plans
electronically; ability to conduct research and to perform
basic word processing, database creation and spreadsheet
operations; ability to manage time, completing assignments
and deadlines effectively; ability to apply consistently
sound judgment; ability to establish and maintain effective
working relationships with county employees and the general
public; ability to communicate effectively both orally and
in writing.
Education and Experience:
A High School Diploma
or equivalent is required. Any combination of education and
experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Emergency
Management, Public Administration, or related Field will be
taken into consideration. Experience or training in
Emergency Management is a plus.
Special Requirements:
Must possess a valid
Illinois Drivers License; Must be willing to undergo a
criminal background check; Must be able to perform duties
outside of normal business hours; Within 30 days of
employment must reside in Logan County.

Central Illinois is seeking a FT Residential Advisor, FT
Personal Attendant/Instructor and a FT Recovery Specialist to
work in its Lincoln, IL sites of care.
The
Residential Advisor position is 40 hours a week in a group home
setting during 3rd shift. Work schedule would be Saturday
through Wednesday 10:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. holidays included.
The
Recovery Specialist is a daytime position working 37.5 hours a
week and is required to participate in the Psychiatric Response
Team (PRT) rotation for after-hours crisis intervention. The
Personal Attendant/Instructor is a daytime position working 37.5
hours a week in the Developmental Training program.
