LINCOLN —
William "Bill" Teaney, 83, of Hartsburg, passed away December 30,
2013 at St. Clara's Manor.

William "Bill" Teaney, 83, of Hartsburg, passed away
December 30, 2013 at St. Clara's Manor.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM on
Saturday, January 4, 2014at Holland Barry & Bennett
Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be at
1:00 PM on Saturday also at the funeral home with
Pastor Joe Sanders officiating. Burial will follow
in Hartsburg Union Cemetery.
Bill was born June 13, 1930 in Franklin, IL., the
son of Howard and Sylvia (Lankford) Teaney. He was
previously married to Dorinda Savoree. She preceded
him in death. He was also previously married married
Vickie (Jarrell) Hilton.

He proudly served his country in the United States
Navy. Bill retired from Caterpillar after 42 years and 11 months. He was a
member of the American Legion in Hartsburg, IL.
Surviving are his children: Dawn (Steve) Georgeson
of Northborough, MA., Janice (Mark) Mickelson of Manito, IL., William "Bill"
(Tami) Teaney II of Layton, UT., Gloria (Ricky) Younger of Watseka, IL., Troy
(Desiree) Teaney of Hartsburg, IL., Tyler (Kim) Teaney of Tinley Park, IL., and
Thais (Michael) Eads of Hartsburg, IL.; 16 grandchildren, 19 great
grandchildren, and sister Norma Joann Payne of Lincoln, IL. also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Calvin Teaney and Wendell
Teaney, and sister Gloria Maybelle Lillard.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Clara's Manor or to Prairieland Christian
Church and will be accepted at the funeral home.
