Illinois country grain prices were
higher on Monday afternoon, with soybean futures sharply higher.
Technical buying at the Board of
Trade helped to lift soybean futures.
Many traders have their eyes on
Friday's release of several major grain reports to be released
by the USDA.
In Northern and Western Illinois country grain dealers quoted
shelled corn bids were mostly 5 cents higher at 6.66-7.00.
Soybean bids were up 18 to 22
cents at 13.65-14.05.
In Central Illinois country grain dealers quoted shelled corn
bids were 5 to 6 cents higher at 6.73-6.98.
Soybean bids were 21 to 24 cents
higher at
13.91-14.06.
In the Southern part of the state, shelled corn bids were 4 to 6
cents stronger at 6.67-7.06.
Soybean bids were 21 to 22 cents
higher at 14.03-14.26.
Wheat bids were 4 cents higher at
7.38-7.56.
